Basic training of Internet of Things at SMK Islam Roudlotus Zaidiyyah Semarang

In recent years, the quality of human resources graduated from Vocational High School (SMK) became one of the main concerns of the Indonesian government. Various programs are launched to support the improvement of student competence. Revitalization of vocational schools for example, this program was created to prepare vocational school graduates to be able to compete in the world of Industry 4.0. Understanding the concept and implementation of the Internet of Things is one of the skills that are a priority. SMK Islam Roudlotus Saidiyyah is one of the schools in Semarang that has a Department of computer and Network Engineering (TKJ). This community service activity program aims to provide education to students/students majoring in TKJ at SMK Islam Roudlotus Saidiyyah Semarang in order to support government programs in improving the competence of vocational school graduates. It is expected that the implementation of this activity can expand the horizon of students ' knowledge on the use of IoT technology, so that they can contribute to the life of the nation and society.
