Ceremony and Public Lecturer between Universitas Diponegoro and Alibaba Cloud Indonesia

Semarang, May 31, 2024 - Universitas Diponegoro and Alibaba Cloud officially signed a memorandum of Understanding (MoU) which marks the start of strategic cooperation in the field of technology and education. The ceremonial signing ceremony took place solemnly in the Hall on the 6th floor of the Acintya Prasada Building, Faculty of Science and Mathematics, Universitas Diponegoro and was attended by officials from both parties as well as students and lecturers.
Dean of the Faculty of Science and Mathematics, Universitas Diponegoro, Prof. Dr. Kusworo Adi, S.Si., M.T., in his speech expressed great hope for this cooperation. "The partnership with Alibaba Cloud will open up new opportunities for our students and faculty to access the latest technologies in cloud computing and big data. This is an important step to prepare young people who are ready to compete in the digital era, " said Prof. Dr. Kusworo Adi, S.Si., M.T.
Meanwhile, a representative from Alibaba Cloud, Eggy Tanuwijaya, explained that this cooperation is part of Alibaba Cloud's commitment to support education and technological innovation in Indonesia. "We believe that collaboration with educational institutions such as Universitas Diponegoro will help create an ecosystem that supports technological development and encourages local innovation," said Eggy Tanuwijaya.
The event was also filled with Public Lecturer activities that presented several experts from Alibaba Cloud. They provide in-depth insights into the latest technological trends such as artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, and cybersecurity. This session is expected to inspire students to further explore and develop expertise in the field of technology.
The signing of this MoU is expected not only to be the beginning of a productive cooperation between Universitas Diponegoro and Alibaba Cloud, but also to have a broad positive impact on the development of technology and education in Indonesia.
