Children's educational games as an instrument to support student learning activities in KB Al-Falah Semarang

Student learning methods are very diverse. Exploration of what students need is very important considering the different types of learning methods and different student interests. One way that can be done is to use the game method, which is expected to increase and build student interest in learning.
Children's educational Game is a website-based application developed by a community service team with students from the Department of Informatics, Faculty of Science and Mathematics, Universitas Diponegoro. This game application was introduced to students of the Al-Falah Semarang Study Group (KB) in the framework of community service activities on Thursday, August 15, 2024. This activity aims to learning activities with more interesting and preferred students.
This service activity was attended by 5 teachers and 20 students of KB Al-Falah Semarang. The focus of this activity is the introduction and training of the use of children's educational games to teachers and students. KB Al-Falah students look enthusiastic and interested when using this game application. They look eager to try it and many want to try the game again. This activity went smoothly and received appreciation from the faculty and head of KB Al-Falah Semarang.
After the event was completed, the head of KB Al-Falah, Mrs. Fitri Yosvita, and the service team conducted a discussion and evaluation of the activities that had been carried out. Mrs. Fitri Yosvita said that this activity helps students to learn in a different way, with a comfortable and different attitude to what is done every day, this educational game increases students ' interest in learning. The positive evaluation of KB Al-Falah Semarang gives confidence and solidifies the commitment to the development of technology as a more interactive student learning media, which can provide knowledge and also a more interesting learning process.
