COUNSELING: HEALTHY INTERNET FOR KIDS AND TEENAGER

Friday, 12 may 2017, the computer science department lecturer perpetuation team Diponegoro University held a society perpetuation in Tegalsari Cndisari Semarang. The perpetuation team consist the likes of Khadijah, S.Kom, M.Cs, Drs. Suhartono, M.Kom, Dr. Aris Puji Widodo, M.T, Sutikno, S.T, M.Cs and Rismiyati, B.Eng, M.Cs. The form of this perpetuation is healthy and safe internet counseling. The target for this activity is to socialize the general public about how to use the internet safely and healthily particularly kids and teen, so that the positive impact of the internet can be utilize and the negative imoact can get reduced or even prevented
In this activity that was attended by more than 40 participant that was dominated by parents. In this activity the participant was given understanding of the internet negative impact especially about pornography for brain and social media, and on how to prevent those negative impact, and on how to utilize the internet correctly. At The end of this activity the participant was given tips and live practice on how to filter negative content on youtube, limit the usage of app for kids and teenager, and app installation that can be used to monitor the smart phone usage
