Domestic Visiting Lecturer “Future AI: Affective Computing & Social Network Analysis”

The field of Computer Science has recently grown so rapidly. This is in line with the many implementations of computer science technology in various fields of human life and the increasingly varied human needs or demands for the technology to support their daily activities. Facing the current of rapid technological developments, universities are also required to continuously update their curriculum and educational processes. For this reason, in order to equip students and lecturers with the latest trends in the field of Computer Science and collaborate with other Universities, the Department of Computer Science/Informatics, Diponegoro University organizes Visiting Lecturer/Professor activities. This activity is an annual routine activity at the Department of Computer Science/Informatics by inviting Lecturers/Practitioners with Doctoral/Professor degrees from institutions outside Diponegoro University to give short lectures in one session with certain topics that are in line with the lecture curriculum at the Department of Computer Informatics. This time the Visiting Lecturer/Professor activity raised the theme Future AI: Affective Computing & Social Network Analysis. This is in line with Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology which is developing rapidly and the curriculum at the Department of Computer Science/Informatics which provides material on AI in the compulsory Smart Systems course in semester 4 and the Social Network Analysis course which is offered as a new elective course in the 2020 Curriculum, Campus. Independence for students with an interest in the field of Intelligent Systems.
