Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a strategic role and contribute greatly to the regional and state revenues of Indonesia. Aside from being one of the new employment alternatives, MSMEs also played a role in encouraging economic growth after the 1997 monetary crisis when large companies had difficulty developing their businesses.
Until now, MSMEs are expected to continue to grow and be able to compete with both national and international companies, but the condition that occurs is that MSMEs still have some weaknesses in their business performance. One of them is the minimal utilization of Information Technology in Business Management, which is caused by limited capital and expertise resources owned.
Based on the results of preliminary studies through interviews with MSME owners CV. Mina Indo Sejahtera, one of the problems in the company is the lack of utilization of information systems for purchase, inventory and sales transactions. So far, CV Mina Indo Sejahtera still uses a simple Office excel application for recording purchase, inventory, and sales transactions. The three functions of purchasing, inventory, and sales transactions are processed by 1 (one) employee, resulting in difficulties in monitoring and evaluating. Problems that often occur are differences in transaction data, recording errors and excessive stock.
Enterprise Resource Planning or also called ERP is an information system intended for manufacturing and service companies whose role is to integrate and automate business processes related to aspects of operations, production and distribution. One of the solutions in an effort to improve business performance and resolve the problem of differences in transaction data, recording errors and excessive stock on CV Mina Indo Sejahtera is through the utilization of Dollibar and Metasfresh ERPs.
Therefore, in this community service program, there will be brief socialization and assistance for CV'S human resources. Mina Indo Sejahtera about ERP utilization and implementation through Dolibarr and Metasfresh applications. Although there are obstacles during the implementation of this PKM activity, CV. Mina Indo Sejahtera felt very helpful in the use of ERP. According to most employees who participated in this PKM activity: (a) Increasing knowledge in ERP, especially Dolibarr and Metasfresh, (b) the use of Dolibarr and Metasfresh which turned out to be very helpful in CV's business activities. Mina Indo Sejahtera, (c) changing the way of thinking in using information technology to support work and daily activities. Participants seemed enthusiastic and active in following the counseling from beginning to end.
