The condition of the COVID-19 pandemic that has been going on since 2020 has resulted in restrictions on activities in the community. This also has a negative impact on transactions that occur in the buying and selling sector which are usually carried out face to face (Kumala and Junaidi, 2020). Even though the government has said that the country's food stock is safe, so people don't need to worry and worry. However, the public ignores this submission and spends more than they need, with the excuse of saving themselves because they are worried that if they don't shop now, tomorrow's goods will be scarce. In addition, prices will also soar high because many are in need (Aisyah and Sappaemi, 2020). The soaring price of these goods will reduce public interest in face-to-face transactions and tend to choose to make transactions through online buying and selling places or marketplaces. In this situation and condition, E-business is a solution to continue to support business. E-business is a business activity that is carried out automatically by utilizing communication networks and internet technology. E-business allows a company to connect with data processing systems both internally and externally to be more efficient and more flexible (Husain et al., 2020). However, the use of the E-Bismis system, such as a marketplace application, must be balanced with sufficient knowledge about the application in order to avoid adverse effects such as unsuitable goods conditions, to unreasonable prices for goods that can result in unfair business competition (Agustina, 2010). 2020). Some market places have implemented systems to minimize this. There is even an application called Kesan (Santri Kedaulatan) which has a U-Mart (Umat Market) feature that is friendly to students. U-Mart is designed to be friendly to students and Islamic products. There is a curation of MSME products and services in U-Mart so that buyers feel comfortable about the halalness of transactions (Kompas, 2020). For this reason, it is necessary to socialize the marketplace application to residents so that they can be put to good use, especially during a pandemic like today. The socialization activity will be carried out at the Al Mutaqqin Foundation located in Tembalang District, Semarang which is expected to provide a good understanding of the use of marketplace applications. The community within the Al Mutaqqin Tembalang Foundation is expected to be able to take advantage of all the features available in the marketplace application properly, starting from the process of adding / selecting goods, understanding item descriptions carefully, to completing the transaction process
