Computational Thinking (Computational Thinking) is a method of solving problems by applying computer science techniques (Informatics). Computational thinking teaches the thought processes used to support problem solving in all disciplines, including the humanities, mathematics and the sciences. Computational thinking can be taught from an early age even from elementary school (SD) by making relationships on a subject or by providing examples of solving simple problems found in daily activities.
Through this community service, computational thinking will be socialized to elementary students in Grades 5 and 6 at SD Islam Pangeran Diponegoro in Tembalang, Semarang. The introduction of computational thinking to students aims to assist students in solving problems with computational thinking, through various features that exist in the Bebras information system. It is expected that by knowing computational thinking students can learn independently about critical thinking, anywhere and anytime.
The implementation was carried out by involving computational Thinking exposure activities, Bebras Indonesia account creation practices, exercises on Computational Thinking and questions and answers with elementary school students in Grades 5 and 6. The introduction of computational thinking is expected to direct students in solving problems with computational thinking.
