Safety and healthy internet and social media training for mothers of PKK of Mangunsari sub-district gunung

In order to share the knowledge to the society, the informatics department team of FSM diponegoro university that was led by Nurdin Bahtiar, S.Si, M.T was doing perpetuation towards the society that was held in mangunsari, gunungpati semarang central java with the target of PKK member.
The activity that was held on Tuesday, 17 april 2018 in mangunsari office brought up the theme of the importance of using the internet healthily and safely especially for kids and teenager so that the parents feel comfortable when their kids were using social media or the internet
This activity started with counseling on the importance of supervising the usage of the internet and social media by kids and teenager because they are really prone of the negative information, pornography, hoax, and etc. Furthermore there was also counseling of how to use an app that can be used to monitor and control the usage of smart phone by kids and teenager. The hope with this app is that parents can acknowledge on how far was the social media and internet surfing/exploration their kids has done.
In addition, the member that supported this activity were: Sukmawati Nur Endah, S.Si, M.Kom, Drs. Eko Adi Sarwoko, M.Kom, Dr. Eng. Adi Wibowo, S.Si, M.Kom, Dinar Mutiara K. N, S.T, M.Info Tech (Comp),Beny Nugroho, and also with the helps of 2 senior student from informatics study of FSM diponegoro university
