Archive is a really important thing for the society, many public service always need archive data. But the awareness from the society regarding archive is still low, for that a step up needed regarding the awareness of the importance of archive. Along with the development of technology, archive can be saved in a form of digital archive, the processing of archive was extremely needed so that the archive will be safe.
Considering the location of indonesia that has a huge potential of natural disaster such as flood, landslide, tsunami, earthquake, eruption, and etc. In order to rescue the archive from damage and lost, the archive department and library Central java providing save deposit box digital for the society to be saved through family archive app.
In this opportunity the informatics/computer science perpetuation team that was led by Ragil Saputra, M.Cs, with 4 other lecturer as the member such as Priyo Sidik Sasongko, M.Kom, Helmie Arif Wibawa, M.Cs, Satriyo Adhy, M.T and Rismiyati, B.Eng, giving training using the family archive application towards the villagers of jomblang candisari semarang. Besides the training using application, they’ve also been given direction about the importance of keeping archive, and also with thid training the hope is that this training was able to raise the awareness regarding archive towards the society. In the end it will be able to reduce the risk of whether damage or loss that was caused by disaster, and also to improve the technology utilization to be more positive and productive.
