THREE COMPUTER SCIENCE STUDENT OF UNDIP GETS BRONZE MEDAL IN SCIENCE LITERATURE COMPETITION ON A NATIONAL LEVEL

Semarang, 30 april 2016. three computer science students of diponegoro university managed to get a bronze medal in a national science literature competition in a series of even called HEALTHfest USU 2016 that was held by the students organization of USU public health. The IF diponegoro team that consist of Amin nudin (chief), rosita sofiana, and indri apriastuti has to compete to get the winner status and eliminate 9 other team in final presentation. Those 10 team consist from two airlangga university and each one of diponegoro university, yogyakarta public university, UNS, UNSOED, Balik papan university, Tnjung pura university, surya university, and PTB. Semarang, 30 April 2016.
The competition final presentation concept is the same concept as the general science literature competition, the order was taken during technical meeting on 28 April 2016. Final presentation was held on 29 April 2016 on FKM USU Auditorium, each team was given 10 minute to present and 15 for question and answer with the three (obviously) competent judges. On 30 april 2016 a national seminar was held and the winner was announced in the governor building in north Sumatera. On the 1st of may 2016 was held a trip to lake toba and sigale-gale statue
Ragil saputra team brought up a creation that was titled “AIGEPTI : Spatial system analysis of dengue fever based off of arcgis as the supporting media towards healthy Indonesia 2020”. the concept was to create a system using Arcgis that can map the endemic dengue fever region and spatial analysis for decision making using rank system. With the existence of AIGEPTI, there would be benefit in a form of easiness in supervising region with dengue fever, makes the handling faster, as well as taking care of public health
Hopefully thid achievement will add an internal experience on the team and ti give motivation for UNDIP students, especially computer science to keep on creating and infecting creative useful idea
