The 1st International Conference on Informatics and Computational Science (ICICoS) 2017 has been going from 15-16 november 2017 at santika premiere hotel Semarang. The chosen theme on this conference was “ Enhancing the Role of Informatics and Computational Science in the Era of Data Science ”. ICICoS is the first conference that was held by computer science/informatics department, science and math faculty, Diponegoro university, Semarang Indonesia. The purpose of this conference was to provide a forum for scientist, engineer and researcher to discuss and brainstorm, exchanging result, and also experience and new work process in informatics and computation whether local or international
ICICoS opening ceremony 2017 was officially opened on Wednesday, 15 november 2017 on 08:40 AM by the leader of science and math faculty diponegoro university Prof. Dr. Widowati M.Si. Along woth ICICoS 2017 leader, Dr. Retno Kusumaningrum, S.Si., M.Kom. In this conference they incited keynote speaker Dr. Denise de Vries ( Flinders University ) and Associate Prof. Dr Kosuke Sekiyama ( Nagoya University ).
The number of paper that was submitted on this year ICICoS totaled 101 paper that came from many country (Australia, austria, croatia, indonesia, japan, malaysia, and the USA) and 46 of them qualify.
