Undip Informatics Students Enthusiastically Participate In Apple Developer Academy Guest Lecture

Semarang - Almost 200 students of the S1 Informatics Study Program at Diponegoro University crowded the 6th floor of the Acintya Prasada building FSM Undip, Wednesday (23/4), in a guest lecture presenting Apple Developer Academy @ Ciputra University Surabaya. This activity is a place to exchange knowledge directly from global technology industry practitioners. 

The event was officially opened by Dr. Helmie Arif Wawa, S.Si., M.Cs., as Secretary of the S1 Informatics Study Program. In his speech, he said that this kind of activity is an important step to open the horizons of students to technological developments and digital industry trends that are constantly changing. 

The first session was filled by Yulibar Husni, S.Dec., Software Development Learning Facilitator Apple Developer Academy. He delivered general lecture materials on the latest technological developments and various application development frameworks in the Apple ecosystem. Participants were introduced to design principles, a user-centric approach, and strategies for building high-quality applications that conform to Apple's industry standards. 

The next session was continued by Andi Setiawan Abadi, S.Kom., M.M., CHRA, as the Operational Manager of Apple Developer Academy. He delivered a socialization on the 2026 Cohort Program which is open to students from various fields of study. The Program is designed to print talented application developers with cross-disciplinary skills, who are able to compete in a globalized world. 

In closing, two Apple Developer Academy alumni from Semarang City were present to share their experiences during the program. In this sharing session, they shared stories about the collaborative learning process, the transformation of skills they experienced, and the career opportunities that opened up after completing the program. The presence of alumni is a source of inspiration for students who are interested in participating in similar programs. 

This guest lecture strengthens the commitment of the S1 Informatics Study Program at Undip in providing a contextual and relevant learning experience with the development of the industrial world, as well as opening wider collaboration channels with world-class technology institutions such as the Apple Developer Academy.
