UNDIP INFORMATICS TEAM GOT THE THIRD PLACE IN THE NATIONAL SOCIETY CREATIVE WRITING III 2015

Three Diponegoro university students managed to get the first place in Society Creative Writing III 2015 that was held by the Farm faculty alumni of Soedirman University for Jogja-Solo-Semarang. Those students were Aditya Dwi Nugraha, Winda Tri Wahyuni dan Amin Nudin. The team was led by Aditya Dwi Nugraha had to compete to get the title and eliminate the other 247 teams in the final presentation. The competition got tighter because the competition was participated by any age groups. The limited preparation time doesn’t burn the spirit of the three students out in the final presentation.
In the final that was held on Friday, 12 June 2015, the team that was guided by Helmie Arief Wibawa, S.Si, M.Cs brought up the creation titled “EDL (Electronic Driving License) electronic driving license innovation based off of biometric as alternative driving license”. the concept of thid idea was making alternative driving license using finger print biometric. Corresponding the government plan that wanted an online driving license, therefore with the online database utilization an innovation in form of EDL (Electronic driving license) with biometric as the alternative for the driving license. EDL will replace the physical driving license as the main data for the driver. The physical driving license will be a complementary thing and not as the main data that was used by the driver during traffic check by the police.
Hopefully that achievement can add the team internal experience and also to give motivation for the computer science students of Diponegoro University to keep on creating and to hatch and breed their creative idea in the future.
