Undip students build Iboni Craft Website in thematic KKN Program in Rowoboni Village

Rowoboni, August 15, 2024-in a series of thematic real work lecture (KKN) programs held by Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP), Attaf Riski Putra Ramadhan, a student from the Informatics department, successfully initiated the creation of a website for Iboni Craft, a water hyacinth craft business in Rowoboni Village, Semarang Regency.
The thematic KKN program with the theme of halal industry development based on food products and handicrafts aims to integrate academic knowledge with the needs of the village community, while strengthening students ' skills in applying the knowledge they have learned. In the program, Attaf Riski Putra Ramadhan took the initiative to support the development of local businesses by building a website that aims to improve the competitiveness and accessibility of handicraft products from Iboni Craft.
Making this Iboni Craft website not only provides a platform to display water hyacinth craft products, but also makes it easier for consumers to find information about Iboni Craft online. With this website, it is expected that Iboni Craft's marketing reach can be expanded to national and even international markets.
"We see great potential in local handicraft products from Iboni Craft. By utilizing information technology, we want to help improve the visibility and competitiveness of these products in the digital era," said Attaf Riski Putra Ramadhan.
In addition, the website is also equipped with features that allow consumers to interact directly with craftsmen, so as to provide feedback and suggestions for future product development.
This effort received appreciation from the community and the Government of Rowoboni village. The owner of Iboni Craft expressed his gratitude to UNDIP students for their real contribution in supporting the increased visibility of Iboni Craft products through the website.

The Undip thematic KKN Program which lasted for 45 days has provided many benefits, not only for students, but also for rural communities. In the future, it is expected that similar programs can continue to be developed to provide real solutions to the problems faced by the community.
