Undip Students Wins The 2nd MTF Business Case Competition 2019

Student Representatives from Universitas Diponegoro (Undip) namely Nanda Khairun Nisa and Rozinul Haq (FEB, Manajemen, 2017) and Zharfan Akbar Andriawan (FSM, Teknik Informatika, 2017) were finally declared winners in The 2nd MTF Business Case Competition 2019 with a proposal entitled " FSA Digital Innovation ”.
Meanwhile, a group from the Universitas Indonesia (UI) won second place with a proposal entitled Increasing Multipurpose SLA. Meanwhile, Lokapala from the Institut Tekhnologi Bandung (ITB) was named the third winner with a proposal entitled Smart Collection.
The Busines Case Competition is a competition held by the financing company PT Mandiri Tunas Finance (MTF) to encourage and provide opportunities for students, especially late-level students from all over Indonesia to enter the business world. This competition was rolled out since last year.
As many as 10 groups today, Wednesday (15/1) are competing for the best three positions. Participants came from a number of leading universities in Indonesia, including the Universitas Indonesia, Universitas Gajah mada, Institut Teknologi Bandung, anf Universitas Diponegoro.
President Director of MTF Arya Suprihadi said the competition was held as a forum for millennial generation to channel their creative and innovative ideas in the business world.
"The concept of this event is how to provide innovative solutions through digital by involving 364 students from various state universities by forming groups to compile proposals. We selected 10 proposals from 30 participants, "said Arya after handing over the awards to the winners in Jakarta, Wednesday (15/1).
"Through this event, we also hope to encourage enthusiasm in facing the digital era. This is also in line with the theme "Strengthening Business through Digital Ecosystem and Product Diversification" which is being announced as corporate planning for this year's MTF, "added Arya.
All business innovation proposals in the form of applications and presentations that have been submitted are assessed directly by the jury consisting of all MTF Board of Directors and external parties, namely Aria Widyanto as Chief Risk and Sustainability Officer Amartha and Rahmat Harlyadi as Chief of Marketing DailySocial.
Of all the proposals, only 30 students made it to the grand final. Participants who qualify for the grand final must present their ideas in front of the judges in this competition.
The MTF Business Case Competition prizes cash prizes, as well as holidays to South Korea. In addition, the winners also have the opportunity to be part of the Management Trainee and intern at MTF.
