Utilization Of Ms-Excel For Visualization Of Village Monograph For the village in Mayong District, Jepara Regency

 Semarang, August 12, 2025 Department of Informatics, Faculty of Science and Mathematics, Universitas Diponegoro Semarang held a community service activity entitled “utilizing Microsoft Excel for visualization of Village monographs for village officials in Mayong Sub-District, Jepara Regency” on Thursday, August 7, 2025. This activity was followed by village officials from all villages in Mayong District, Jepara Regency. 

This activity was organized by lecturers from Department of Informatics: Dr. Indra Waspada, S.T., M.T.I; Dinar Mutiara K.N., S.T., MInfo Tech (Comp), Ph.D; Beta Noranita, S.Si, M.Kom; Nurdin Bahtiar, S.Si., M.T.; Dhena Kamalia Fu'adi, S.Kom., M.Kom. and involve some students. 

This service aims to increase the capacity of village officials in processing, analyzing, and presenting village monographic data more effectively and informatively through the use of Microsoft Excel features. The training material includes an introduction to monographic data processing using Excel, techniques for creating tables, graphs, and data visualization.  

This training was held in Mayong district with lecture, practice, and discussion methods. With this activity, it is expected that the village apparatus will be able to present village monographic data more effectively, accurately, and support the decision-making process at the village government level. This activity is also expected to provide tangible benefits, including: simplifying the process of preparing village reports, improving the skills of village officials in managing data, and encouraging the creation of more modern and technology-based Village Governance. 

Department of Informatics, Faculty of Science and Mathematics, Universitas Diponegoro Semarang is committed to continuing to organize useful community service activities. This activity is one form of real contribution from the Department of Informatics FSM Undip in devoting science and technology to the community.
