Workshop on Computational Thinking for Students of Tembalang Primary School, Semarang City

As one implementation of Tri Darma in Higher Education, Informatics Department, Faculty of Science and Mathematics Diponegoro University, held a community service activity on October 10, 2019 in Tembalang Primary School, Semarang City. The activity took a form of workshop on Computational Thinking for fourth, fifth and sixth class students. The workshop was subsequent to the similar workshop for teachers in the same school previously held in April 2019. The workshop was so important to prepare students in facing future challenges especially in terms of information technology. The delivered topics included some computational thinking techniques followed by training for students to accomplish some tasks to improve their High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). After accomplishing the workshop, students became more confident for Bebras Challenge (http://bebras.or.id) held in November 2019 around the world including Indonesia.
