ANFORCOM (Annual Informatics Competition) 2020 by theme "Reconnecting Society with Advanced Technology"

Himpunan Mahasiswa Informatika (HMIF) Universitas Diponegoro, successfully held ANFORCOM 2020, by theme "Reconnecting Society with Advanced Technology". ANFORCOM (Annual Informatics Competition) is a form of annual event organized by HMIF as a forum for students throughout Indonesia to express their ideas, creativity, and intelligence in the IT field through various various forms of events.
Adapting to the Social Distancing program, all ANFORCOM 2020 activities are held online using the zoom platform. ANFORCOM 2020 carries a branch of the Data Mining competition which is followed nationally by students from various universities in Indonesia. In this competition branch, participants are challenged to be able to process and visualize data from the problems given. This competition was won by Softmax team (Institut Teknologi Bandung) as the first winner, followed by Karma (Institut Teknologi Bandung) and UB no.1 (Universitas Brawijaya) as the 2nd and 3rd place winners.
Apart from the competition, ANFORCOM 2020 also held an IT workshop with the topic "Kickstart your Startup 101" which was filled by Miftachul Robani M.Kom, CEO of Protect the Forest as a resource and facilitator. This workshop was held in 2 sessions, 17-18 October 2020 which discussed the ins and outs of making and managing startups, sharing sessions, and FGD (Focus Group Discussion).
