Regional security is one thing that needs to be paid attention to by various parties down to the scope such as Rukun Warga (RW). In the scope of RW.06 Kel. Bulusan, Kec. Tembalang, various efforts have been made to maintain the security of residents such as the provision of security guards and one-door access in the area.
However, it is felt that this has not been optimal due to the limited number of security personnel / security guards. This raises the opportunity to use information technology to assist environmental security systems. Therefore, in this community service program there has been counseling and implementation of the use of information technology to residents about the CCTV program on smartphones in RW.06, Kel.Bulusan, Kec.Tembalang.
The implementation of the use of information technology in the form of installing Fiber Optic and CCTV in locations prone to criminal acts was carried out from August - October 2020. Then continued with the socialization of the use of the CCTV monitoring application via smartphone which was held on 23 October 2020 at Masjid Al Muttaqiin RW.06 Kel. Bulusan Kec.Tembalang. Through this socialization and implementation, it is hoped that residents will be more vigilant and can contribute to environmental monitoring.
