UNDIP Students Win Gold Medal at iCE-CInno 2024 with AquaGuard, an AI-Based Drowning Detection System

In November 2024, Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) awarded the Gold Medal at iCE-CInno 2024 to a team of Diponegoro University students for their innovative project, AquaGuard—a real-time drowning detection system using computer vision and the YOLOv11 algorithm to enhance child safety through non-intrusive CCTV monitoring. The team comprises Yesaya Rudolf Susanto Widyanto (IF'22), Tirza Aurellia Wijaya (IF'22), Alvin Haristianto (IF'23), Indah Nurul Janah (IF'23), and Sulhan Fuadi (IF'23).
