Utilization of Cloud Computing for teachers in Supporting the Evaluation Process of Student Learning at MA Darut Taqwa Semarang

In the digital era that continues to evolve, the use of technology is becoming increasingly important in the field of Education. One technology that can be utilized is cloud computing. Cloud computing technology offers flexible infrastructure and wide accessibility. This technology provides many benefits for teachers, students and all other educational stakeholders. Through the use of cloud computing, teachers can store evaluation data, make more in-depth analysis, and generate more meaningful information to support the teaching and learning process. Utilizing cloud computing can be a valuable tool for teachers in supporting student learning evaluation. By effectively utilizing this technology, teachers can improve the efficiency, quality, and impact of the student learning evaluation process, thereby improving the overall quality of Education.
The Department of Informatics, Faculty of Science and Mathematics, Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP) participated in carrying out the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, namely community service activities in the form of introduction and training of cloud computing (Cloud Computing) to teachers at MA Daarut Taqwa Semarang. The service activity was held on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at MA Daarut Taqwa Semarang which was attended by teachers with the aim of introducing cloud-based applications to optimize the student learning evaluation process. Service activities in the form of an introduction to the concept of cloud computing and examples of its implementation for the evaluation process of student learning. Teachers are introduced to one of the cloud-based applications, Looker Studio, which can be used as a student learning evaluation tool. The introduction of the application is done by providing examples of the use and processing of data for evaluation to produce an informative evaluation dashboard.
The teachers were very enthusiastic and interested in the material from the service team, based on the results of the evaluation questionnaire, most of the participants of the activity argued that the service activity was very useful and also the participants were interested in being able to use the application in the future. With more intensive and routine training, teachers are expected to be able to utilize cloud computing applications to optimize the student learning evaluation process.
